| Frequently Asked Convention Questions 1) Is airfare included in my registration cost? No, airfare is not included in your room reservation or registration fee. You are responsible for your airfare, rental car, and meals not covered in FCM’s meal plan. 2) Can I carry-on my child’s liquid medication on the plane? Please check TSA’s requirements when flying with a person who has special needs: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/specialneeds/index.shtm 3) What’s the weather like in Arizona in June? According to the National Weather Service, the Average High temperature for Phoenix in June of 2011 was 104.3 degrees Fahrenheit. Average Low was 77.3 degrees Fahrenheit. 4) Will there be a refrigerator in my room? All standard rooms are equipped with a mini-bar fridge. All of our families are welcome to clear out the fridge that is already in the room and use it for your personal items (food, drinks, medication, etc.); however, we cannot guarantee that these mini-bar fridges will be big enough or cold enough to house all of your needs. The Villa Suites are equipped with full-size refrigerators – for more information on renting a Villa Suite, please contact FCM directly. 5) Is there a shuttle from the airport to the Arizona Biltmore? Unfortunately, The Atizona Biltmore does not have a shuttle service that travels from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport to the resort. There are many shuttle services available that you can coordinate transportation with, or there is always the option of a rental car. Please keep in mind that many rental car companies offer discounts to members of certain organizations: (AARP, AAA, Costco) check with your favorite rental car company to see what discounts they offer and if your family applies! The Arizona Biltmore can arrange transportation for your family to and from the resort; you can call Resort Services at (602) 955-6600 for pricing. 6) Where can I go to eat when FCM does not provide the meal? The hotel has many restaurants onsite to choose from ranging in types of food and price point. Upon arrival, FCM will also provide you with a local dining guide that will direct you to places to eat in the area that are not on the resort campus. Please do not forget the option of going down to the local grocery store and picking up snacks for your hotel room, or have a pizza ordered in! If you would like an appointment with Dr. William Dobyns and the other top physicians attending, please check the appropriate box on your registration form. There is a $40 surcharge for an appointment with the top physicians. After we receive your registration form and payment, we will contact you to set up an appointment time and inform you of all the necessary paperwork you will need to submit (at least 30 days prior) to your appointment at the convention. 8) What airports can I fly in to and which airlines fly to Phoenix? The closest (15 minutes from the Arizona Biltmore) and largest airport is Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). Airlines that fly in to the airport are as follows: Another option is the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, but please note that this airport is approximately one hour away from the Arizona Biltmore. 9) Is there an agenda for the Convention?
